The construction of Xi 'an Silk Road Tower is in progress

From March 6, the publicity video of "Happy World Miracle Blossom of the Silk Road" was broadcast in the prime time of CCTV-13, showing the fine works of Shaanxi cultural tourism to the audience of the whole country and even the whole world.

The three people take the time shuttle to the Happy World of the Silk Road in Xi 'an, the starting point of the Silk Road, to experience the customs of various countries on the Silk Road, experience wonderful entertainment and performances, and start the magical journey of the Silk Road.

As a major cultural and tourism project in Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Tourism Group Silk Road Joy World covers an area of 567 mu. With the theme of "Silk Road, Joy, Science and Technology", Shaanxi Tourism Group explores the spirit of innovation of the Silk Road and innovates the Silk Road IP in Xi 'an, the starting point of the Silk Road. The project is the first "Silk Road Culture Micro holiday destination", showing a Silk Road culture micro holiday destination that integrates scientific and technological innovation and creates an immersive happy experience.

As a landmark of the happy world of Silk Road, I TOWER is 139.21 meters high, which means "love you for life". The shape of Mobius Ring represents infinite love and joy, which is both the end and the beginning. With the cool theme light show, it combines dance, culture, science and technology, art and beauty to deliver the core values of Silk Road, joy and science and technology, forming a visual and spiritual shock.

The Silk Road Tower is unique in shape and creative, just like a ballet dancer dancing in the wind. Its overall structure consists of four parts: tower body, Mobius ring, skirt and streamer.

The inner tube is composed of 10 vertical columns and horizontal beams arranged at equal intervals. The outer tube is a spatial steel structure of diamond grid curve with two-way spiral interweaving. The shape of the tower resembles Guangzhou Xiaoman waist, showing an amazing aesthetic effect of "slim waist, not full of a grip", which is also consistent with the traditional Chinese aesthetic.

The top is shaped by 12 Mobius ring curved chord bars, which are connected with opposite and upper and lower, with smooth curves and full of dynamics. Although the form of internal and external connection comes from the west, it is in the same way with the Oriental architectural spirit of the unity of heaven and man and the way of nature.

The skirt is arranged in plane truss radially with a diameter of 64.5 meters. The outer end of the truss is connected by curved and rhythmic ring beams. The upper and lower surfaces are matched with blue and white ETFE membrane structure, which is light and elegant. The spiral space special-shaped streamer is shaped by the hyperbolic strings inside and outside. The connecting steel structure is arranged between the strings and supplemented by the white streamer ETFE film structure. The shape rises and spirals upward.

Silk Road Tower ETFE cable membrane structure is built by Ningbo Marriott Space Structure Engineering Co., LTD.
